Hi, I'm Karenna. Originally from England, I now live in the Perth Hills with my husband and baby daughter, Isla. I practise across the central, east and south of the river region of Perth, Western Australia, offering a variety of services to women and families. Please contact me if you would like more information or join me on facebook or on my blog for all the latest news, research and stories.. My philosophy I'm passionate about women and motherhood. I think the physical process of conception, pregnancy and birth is nothing short of a miracle and that conceiving and birthing children is the single most important life-changing event in many women's lives. Reproduction is nothing new, but our modern lives are. We're often separated from our families geographically, working longer hours, not part of a village or close-knit community and taught to be independent and self-sufficient. Also due to the fantastic advances in medical technology, we often learn to trust machines, tests and institutions more than our bodies and instincts and ignore the powerful effect of our minds on our bodies and health. In this climate, women and families need much more emotional, mental and practical support and preparation at this time. Don't be afraid to reach out and invest in this time as effective support and education can make all the difference for your family and long-term health. My Qualifications For many years, I've worked on women's hospital wards, at birthing and maternity advocacy groups and supporting friends and family through pregnancy and birth. Now, I'm able to follow my passion full-time in Hope & Honey as an educator, coach and friend. Read testimonials from the people I''ve supported • First Class BA (Hons) Applied Communications, University of Newcastle • Certified Hypnobirthing Practitioner, The Marie Mongan Method • Certified Fertility Coach • Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CIMI) • Diploma in Childbirth Education (Dip Ed), Childbirth International

I'm incredibly passionate about the role of the mind in fertility, pregnancy and birth and love to help people prepare emotionally as well as practically for the journey ahead. I think being informed about the processes and your options helps clients feel confident, informed and empowered. That's the best bit of my work - hearing how different and positive clients feel after, I love it!

The business was named by my beautiful 93-year old Grandmother, Rita Watson. She loves her honey and has hundreds of uses for it to improve health, solve household problems and generally make you feel good. It's nature's spoonful of sugar and combined with a decent splash of Hope and positive mindset – it will help you through life's biggest challenges.
