Amy has worked with athletes from all levels in many different sports, but most recently as a physiotherapist for Swimming Australia travelling with the Australian team for the Junior Pan Pacific championships in Hawaii. Her past sporting experience also includes physiotherapist for Harlequin Rugby Union Club for 2 years and Hawthorn Cricket Club for 3 years. Amy is also now closely involved with MLC Aquatic swim club and has assisted with screenings, injury management and providing pilates to some of their swimmers. Amy is experienced in multiple areas of physiotherapy including post operative rehabilitation, fracture management, acute neck and back injuries, pre and post pregnancy pain as well as all sporting injuries.
Amy Walsh is the director and founder of Bounceback Physio. She has over 14 years experience working as a physiotherapist with a focus on sports injuries and management. She graduated from La Trobe University as a physiotherapist in 1999.
Amy’s philosophy is to be able to assist all patients towards achieving their goals, whether that be rehabilitation from injury, going back to the gym, playing in a grand final, maintaining a fitness program or competing in a national swimming competition. She has a strong focus on manual therapy techniques and particularly enjoys treating all lower limb issues and shoulder injuries. Amy looks forward to helping you bounce back to your 
Josie graduated from Monash University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, She commenced working in the public hospital sector in Melbourne, after which she travelled to London to further her career in both the private and public settings. Josie has only recently returned from the UK to live in Melbourne and is thrilled and excited to be working alongside Amy and Catherine at Bounceback Physio. She has worked across a variety of different settings, including outpatients, orthopaedics, rehabilitation, oncology, and women’s health, but her passion lies in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy. Josie herself enjoys keeping fit by going to the gym and running and believes her own experience with overcoming injuries helps to make her a better physio for her patients.
Since graduating Josie has completed a number of post graduate courses in areas such as clinical pilates, musculoskeletal acupuncture and dry needling. She is passionate about using a range of techniques, believes in a hands-on approach, and looks forward to helping you recover from your injuries in the quickest time possible.
 EXPERIENCE

Amy’s experience includes 6 years working in London in both hospitals and private practice and 5 years in a Melbourne private practice as the lead physiotherapist. Amy has also completed a masters module in triaging for physiotherapy at University of London and in 2010 completed the Level 3 APA sports physiotherapy course. Amy also received her dry needling and musculoskeletal acupuncture training in the UK and is able to utilise these skills in her treatment.
