ABOUT US Viking Rentals was founded on the simple idea that using a portable toilet should not be an unpleasant experience. We aim to make a visit to our toilets as dignified as possible. We have grown to also offer temporary fencing and temporary power poles. We serve all areas within Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Ipswich, Bribie Island and Gladstone. We have depots at Hallam (Vic), Acacia Ridge (Qld), Labrador (Qld), Gladstone (Qld), Kwinana (WA), and Greenfields (SA). We also now launched our depot in Penrith, servicing Greater Western Sydney. COMPANY DIRECTORS Jim Noort Jim is the founder and Managing Director of Viking Rentals. He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering (UQ) and an MBA majoring in New Venture Management (QUT). He has professional experience encompassing new product design and development, invention commercialisation, patent law, internet commerce and other diverse fields of business. He founded Viking Rentals after he was supplied a dirty toilet by a well known Australian company. pic Tim Wilson Tim Wilson is Managing Director of BSPE, a strategic investor in Viking Rentals, as well as a director of a number of local businesses. He has a strong background in the private equity and investment banking industries, having spent over twelve years in roles with Credit Suisse First Boston, Paribas, Babcock & Brown and Investec. Tim holds a Bachelor of Commerce/ Laws from the University of Queensland and a Masters of Science in Finance from the London Business School. He is also a qualified lawyer, having practiced at Minter Ellison. MEET THE TEAM Brendan Armstrong (General Manager) Brendan has a background in both the hospitality and construction industries, in various roles from sales, contract management, operations and general management. He adds experience in systems creation, implementation and management to the Viking Rentals team. He has vast experience in WH&S matters and is currently completing further studies in this area to complement his previous business marketing & management studies. Brendan is responsible for the day management of the business and ensures the business continues to operate within its developed operating systems, whilst always seeking constant improvement across all levels of the company. Stephen Penaluna (National Sales Manager - Events) Stephen joined Viking Rentals in 2010 after forging a successful career in the event hire industry in both the UK and Australia with sales and operations roles. Stephen’s superior knowledge of our products, the infrastructure required to successfully maintain them during your event and his understanding of the uniqueness of each and every single event ensure that no matter your requirement, Viking Rentals are best placed to manage your amenities. Kelly Hoekstra (Financal Controller) Kelly has worked with Viking Rentals since 2011. As a Chartered Accountant (CPA CA) Kelly is well qualified to prepare the companies regular financial reports and perform internal audits of financial information. Kelly also looks after all of our accounts payable and payroll data.
