Purpose designed for comfort in the wilderness, the Canopy Treehouses are perched high in the rainforest canopy on the banks of the flowing Ithaca River. The eco-friendly house designs blend in naturally with the surrounding rainforest, making it the ultimate eco-friendly rainforest resort in Australia.
Below are the eco-friendly rainforest accommodation options that we offer:

Treehouses Our five luxury timber and glass treehouses are totally and completely private. Each treehouse has two bedrooms, fully self contained kitchen, spa bath and balcony with a BBQ and hammock.

The Bower House is our larger award-winning three bedroom Treehouse, nestled on top of a ridge on the backing onto the rainforest and boasting spectacular valley and rolling green countryside views. The ideal location for larger families and groups.

The Rainforest Unit is attached to our main building, looking across the lawn to the magnificent rainforest.  It has two bedrooms and is located at ground level, providing assisted wheelchair access.

In a world of rapidly shrinking ecosystems our protected 100 acres of rare upland complex mesophyll vine forest is part of one of the largest untouched tracts of rainforest on the Highlands. Studies conducted by the C.S.I.R.O. have shown that our forest produces an average of 4 to 7 times the amount of fruit and food than other nearby rainforests. This rich source of food along with the general deforestation in the surrounding area accounts for the phenomenally high density of rare and unique wildlife found at the Canopy.

Resident Cassowaries, rare Lumholtz Tree Kangaroos and endangered Green Possums call our forest home whilst a thriving colony of shy platypus inhabit our river.

Red-legged Pademelon Wallabies abound and Coppery Brushtail Possums will visit your balcony every night, whilst Northern Bandicoots and other marsupials forage on the evening forest floor.

Wake to a serenade of birdsong every morning as Victoria's Riflebirds, beautiful King Parrots, Spotted Catbirds and an ever-changing parade of Honeyeaters and Finches greet you on the Treehouse balcony, or wander along our many walking tracks and immerse yourself in the grandeur of pristine, old growth, high country rainforest.

We are privileged to be the custodians of this very precious, special place.

For the more indulgent experience a full array of rainforest massages and treatments are available, performed in the privacy of your tree house balcony by a qualified masseuse or therapist.

Treat yourself to the utmost in pampering and relaxation in a unique and enchanting setting.
