In 2007 we decided to start helping the smaller businesses in Australia that couldn't afford not to know how much their bookkeeping would cost them before they handed over their bookwork. We developed packages for them so they knew exactly how much it was going to cost them before even ringing our business. Yvette and Sandie are the founding Directors of the business and collectively have over 25 years experience in bookkeeping. Our feedback from our clients was that meeting us was one of the best things they decided to do. They were able to spend more time in their business and we took all their headaches away from them at an affordable fixed price. We collected from them, we processed their bookkeeping, we lodged their BAS, we filed all their paperwork and finally we delivered their paperwork back to them and all they had to do was fill their shoebox. We knew our clients were so happy with our systems that we wanted to help other mums, or people who just wanted a career change or people who just wanted to work from home so we began franchising Shoebox Bookkeeping in late 2012 and are currently expanding throughout Australia. Yvette is our Sales and Marketing Manager and also our Franchise Recruitment Manager. Sandie is our Franchisee Training Manager and also our Research and Development Manager. Sandie is also our registered BAS Agent. We couldn't do this without our girls though. We have a great team of staff that we can rely on and who we adore at our head office on the Gold Coast. The uniqueness of our business is that whilst we are experiencing growth, we are still managing our bookkeeping business which enables us the advantage of implementing and testing our systems before our franchisees. Our mission is to continue providing an overall easy, cost effective solution to our clients needs. We are also passionate about continuing to provide other likeminded bookkeepers with a lifestyle where you can actually work around your life.

Our business was born out of a necessity to provide small businesses and tradies a fixed price fee for preparing their BAS. Our friends and family literally kept their receipts in a shoebox so we thought, what a great name "Shoebox Bookkeeping”. It is a simple concept! Keep all your receipts and invoices in the shoebox that we provide our clients with and we will do the rest.
