Hope Harbour Storage offers short or long term storage in our secure store units. Fifteen different sized storage units ranging from 1.5m x 3m to 3.5m x 8m. Two styles of lockers available for storage of archives and smaller personal items. Units to suit both commercial and domestic storage.

What is the minimum storage period?

Our minimum storage period is one month.


How do I know what size unit I will require?

Our professional staff can assist you with the unit size.


How far in advance should I book my unit?

It is advisable to contact us when you have your moving date, we can then advise the size required and check the availability of those units.  We can reserve a unit for up to 2 weeks.


Can I get a discount for long-term storage?

We offer a discount for guaranteed rentals six months plus


Do I have to sign a long term contract?

We use the standard Self Storage Association Agreement. On move-in a month’s rental is due plus a 50% (fully refundable) deposit of the monthly rental.


Is there anything else I will need on move-in?

You will need a padlock for your unit – we sell them for $9.50. Insurance of the unit is your responsibility.


How do I get insurance?

We can get an insurance quote online – cost is dependent on the value of goods and length of time insured.


How does billing work?

Your invoice will be sent to you by mail or email 10 days prior to when the next rental is due.


How can I pay?

Payment can be made by Cash, EFT, or Credit Card.  We accept Visa, Mastercard  and American Express


How much time do you need to give when moving out?

We require 7 days notice .


Do I get a refund if I move out earlier than advised?

If notice has been given a pro-rata refund will apply.


What can’t I store?

You must not store hazardous, dangerous, illegal, stolen perishable, environmentally harmful or explosive goods.


What sort of security do you have?

We offer state-of-the-art technology to keep your belongings safe, including computer-controlled individual pin code access, multi-camera video surveillance 24 hours a day 7 days a week, and managers who live on site.


How often can I access my goods?

Access to our facility is 6 am to 9 pm, you will need your pin code for entry and exit.


Do you have trolleys available for use?

Yes, we have luggage trolleys available for customer’s use.


Can I get packaging supplies from Hope Harbour Self Storage?

We sell boxes, packaging tape, butcher’s paper, and mattress protectors.
