HomeAbout Us EUROGLASS AUSTRALIA – MILESTONES: 1989 – Euroglass was founded by Peter & Jane Condon to market and install frameless glass shower screens on the Gold Coast. It was a first of its kind business in Queensland to market and install frameless shower screens. 1992 – The company grew from 2 to 4 people as business picked up and was incorporated into a private company. 1994 – The business moved to Brisbane and continued to operate out of their home garage. 1997 – The company leased its first premises in Morningside. 1999 – Frameless glass pool fencing was added to the product range and completed a large project for Park Avenue Apartments – Southbank, Brisbane. 2002 – Gold Coast branch opened to service local enquiries. 2003 – Frameless glass balustrades were added to the product range, giving architects and designers a one-stop-shop for frameless glass systems on projects. 2005 – Clientele expanded to include Royal Pines Resort (Gold Coast) and The Peninsular Apartments (Airlie Beach). Euroglass moved into a state-of-the-art 2000 square metre facility in Hemmant, Brisbane where machinery was installed to process it own glass in-house and increasing the efficiency and quality of glass required for highly accurate frameless glass systems. 2006 – Sunshine Coast branch opened. 2009 – Due to the impact of the global financial crisis both the Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast offices were closed and operations were centralised back to Head Office in Hemmant. 2010 – Euroglass split off its glass processing arm to become 1st Glass. This company produces all the glass for Euroglass' clients as well as selling glass to hundreds of other trade glass customers. Project completed for Mon Komo, (Scarborough). 2013 – Euroglass & 1st Glass have a combined staff of 30 employees and both companies aim to increase turnover by 30% over the next 3 years with the introduction of brand new state-of-the-art machinery. Projects completed for: Ergon (Townsville), Felicity Hotel (Brisbane) and Seahaven (Noosa). 2014 – Euroglass celebrates 25 years in the frameless glass business.
