Village Kids Childrens Centres are a privately owned group of Kindergarten & Early Learning Centres that has a community based feel. We have 14 centres located throughout Queensland from Ipswich in the south to the northern beaches of Port Douglas in Far North Queensland. We are pleased to announce our new centre in Port Douglas has also now been completed.

We have 14 centres located throughout Queensland from Ipswich in the south to the northern beaches of Port Douglas in Far North Queensland. We are pleased to announce our new centre in Port Douglas has also now been completed.

Why Village Kids?

Our aim at Village Kids Childrens Centres is to provide the highest quality of care and education within our programs in a happy secure environment where your child can develop his/her own physical, intellectual, social and emotional skills to become a competent and confident individual. We hope that you as a primary caregiver will feel welcome, relaxed and secure in our Early Childhood Education and Care Centres. We would like to develop a sense of trust and a working partnership, not only between ourselves and your child, but also with you as a family. Within our management of the Centres, we strive to maintain effective policies and procedures to maintain quality Educators, professional development and inservice training and the highest standard of the programs and environment for all who attend – children, families, educators and visitors. The Centres provide morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea. Nappies for ALL children (if required) and linen in the Baby room.

Ø That is CHILD CENTRED – where each child is encouraged and empowered to contribute ideas and evaluations... to focus on the learning styles of each child and work together with children in all knowledge areas to jointly construct understandings so as to gradually hand over responsibility for learning tasks as the child gains understanding and confidence

Ø That is CONSISTENT - where there is companionship, support, trust and a commitment to building connections and maintaining reciprocal and respectful relationships... promoting partnerships of family and community oriented learning and values continued participation of parents
