We are a fully licenced and insured company and a proud member of the Queensland Master Builders Association and the Institute of Building Consultants. We work in accordance with the current Australian Standards and, because we are independent of any third parties, you can be confident that the property report has been written for you. All property inspections will be carried out by highly trained industry professionals, to provide you with a comprehensive and independent property report at the most competitive price. Our Building and Pest Inspectors cover greater Queensland from Northern New South Wales, north to include the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gympie and out west to Toowoomba and the surrounding Darling Downs. We also have an office in Townsville, covering Ingham, Cardwell, Ayre and Charters Towers. With our network of associates we can provide an extensive Queensland-wide service. We will provide this service with honesty, integrity and a commitment to our clients' individual needs

In Queensland we love the outdoors and the family pool is a staple of our fair state, providing hours of enjoyment for young and old alike.

Tragically backyard pools are also the leading cause of deaths for children 1 - 4 years old. This doesn't need to be the case as taking the correct pool safety precautions can assure that your pool remains a safe place for family fun and enjoyment.

To help ensure swimming pools are safe in Queensland for all our little tackers, the Queensland Government has introduced a new set of codes for pool safety which means if you are a home owner, your pool must meet theQueensland pool safety laws. Have one of our qualified and licensed pool inspectors come out and conduct a mandatory Queensland pool safety inspection. Once you pass the inspection you'll receive your pool satefy certificate.

Pool Inspections

Please note that we do not actually inspect your pool - you will need to hire a pool expert to check for any pool-related issues including the chlorinator, the pool pump, filters and so forth.

We often get asked about finding water leaks and cracks in the pool however this is also something a specialist must look into for you (usually a diver will have to inject a special dye in the pool in an effort to track water flow). Inspect My Home will inspect for any safety issues and comment on these as a duty of care to you.

To make sure your pool passes a safety inspection first read our pre-pool safety inspection guide on what you can do before an inspector arrives and avoid failing the inspection. View our gallery from past pool inspections to see some of the most common areas requiring attention. It is also worth noting that spas and portable pools of certain criteria also require safety barriers to comply with the new pool safety laws.
