Established in 1989, Lindsay Trigar Physiotherapist Sports Clinic is a large orthopaedic and sports medicine clinic that emphasises exercise rehabilitation in its treatments. We are located at 537 Boundary Street, Spring Hill, adjacent to St. Andrew's War Memorial Hospital, on the fringe of the Brisbane CBD. Our friendly team of full-time physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, massage therapists, podiatrists, dieticians and reception staff are dedicated to helping our clients. We are a local, family-owned business that is proud to serve the community, attracting clients from in and around Spring Hill.

Lindsay Trigar
Lindsay Trigar founded the Lindsay Trigar Physiotherapist Sports Clinic in 1989. He has a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy and Human Movements, and his main interests lie within sports and orthopaedic physiotherapy. He is passionate about emphasising exercise-based rehabilitation, and the clinic focuses on this in our treatments.

Lindsay has been the team physiotherapist for the Queensland Bulls, the Brisbane Broncos and QAS Rugby League, working with some of Australia’s top athletes and teams. He has toured with the Australian cricket team as well as the AIS/AFL Academy team during the International Rules series.

For the past seven years, Lindsay has shared his knowledge as a lecturer in Bond University’s postgraduate physiotherapy degree program. He has also enjoyed a long association with the St. Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital, particularly working with surgeons involved in shoulder, knee and ankle surgery.
Cody Fullarton, Exercise Physiologist, Personal Trainer
Graduating from the University of Queensland with honours in a Bachelor of Applied Science, Cody has since become an accredited ESSA Exercise Physiologist. He has gained his Masters in Sports Coaching and qualified as a level 2 coach with the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA).

He has worked with Lindsay as an Exercise Physiologist for the past 10 years, gaining extensive experience in athlete rehabilitation and injury prevention. Cody has fulfilled various roles during this time with elite sporting teams and individual athletes.

Cody is currently serving the Redland Bombers Australian Football Club as Head of Strength and Conditioning. Prior to this post, he spent seven years with AFL Queensland, in various roles, including Head of High Performance for the under-16s and under-18s program.
Sebastian Monteverde, Remedial Massage Therapist, Sports Trainer
Having graduated from the Q Academy Remedial and Massage Therapies College in 2010 with a Diploma of Remedial Massage, Sebastian has been practising at the clinic for the past five years.

He has worked with several top-flight organisations, including Tennis Australia, A2E Rugby League, and The Australian Institute of Sport. He has also been involved with world-class sporting teams, such as the Junior Davis Cup team and the Redland Bombers NEAFL team.

In July 2010, he also began working with the Brisbane Lions, and in 2013 was made Head Massage Therapist and Sports Trainer. In 2015, he also started working with the Queensland Firebirds netball team.

Sebastian’s remedial massage services include everything from postural analysis, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, traditional Chinese cupping, dry needling and acupuncture.
Matteo Amabile, Physiotherapist
Matteo graduated from QUT in 2010 having completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement Studies). He always had an interest in sports and exercise rehabilitation, so went on to complete a Doctor of Physiotherapy at Bond University in early 2013.

Matteo’s studies culminated in the completion of a lengthy internship at the Brisbane Roar Football Club, assisting with the injury management of their A- League and National Youth League players. Since graduation, Matteo has worked under the guidance of Lindsay, treating all musculoskeletal, sports and orthopaedic conditions.

Matteo has worked as a physiotherapist for Redland Bombers Australian Football Club and Brisbane Grammar School Football Program for their past three seasons. He has plans to further his education in completing a Masters in sports physiotherapy with the view of specialisation in the future.
