Yoga by the Bay offers regular weekly yoga classes that suit everybody from beginners to advanced. Yoga classes consist of postures, gentle stretches to release tightness and tension in the body, breathing practises to bring balance to the mind and nervous system, relaxation and meditation to create peace of mind, focus and clarity. Jan is an accredited yoga teacher; she is currently a member of the Victorian Yoga Association and was inspired to teach and share the power of yoga after finding it so beneficial in her own healing at an early age. The style of yoga that Jan teaches is Satyananda also known as hatha yoga. Jan is also a reiki master and practitioner who runs regular workshops. Jan has a passion for guiding and teaching people to listen to their hearts and body; she enjoys assisting people to reach their potential, to live their life with love and joy.
