Established in March 2008 by the company's principal Gail Allison, Pathway Legal is dedicated to providing expert legal advice. Our team is dedicated to obtaining the best outcome for our client and ensuring that we get the desired result each and every time. Our advice is specifically tailored to your individual circumstances because we understand that no two matters are the same. Gail's two daughters Siobhan and Sian also work in the business along with Mandy Kinzett, a Senior Paralegal, who has been assisting Gail since 2003. Gail's husband Lindsay Schmalkuche is the Practice Manager and assists Gail and clients on matters where commercial business advice is required. Our staffs' biographies are below. Gail Allison – Principal Gail has been in practice since 2002. She has a strong commercial background, having previously worked for various commercial law firms before making the decision to open her own firm in March 2008 to enable her to give the time and personal service she felt her loyal clients deserved. Gail has set up her firm to be client friendly and always looks to find the “best” outcome for her clients based on her listening to, and understanding her clients' needs. Gail is also a trained Collaborative Family Law Practitioner. Gail's memberships include the following:- Queensland Law Society Law Institute of Victoria Queensland Collaborative Law International Academy of Collaborative Professionals Siobhan Allison – Solicitor Siobhan graduated from Bond University with a Bachelor of Laws specializing in Corporate and Commercial Law and was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland in June 2011. Siobhan has been working for the firm since it opened in March 2008. Since her time at Pathway, Siobhan has been involved with numerous complex financial and legal matters. Siobhan's expertise lies in Wills and Estate Planning and Family Law, including the area of Collaborative Practice. In addition to her experience in Wills and Estate Planning and Family law, Siobhan also has experience in corporate and commercial law including leasing and mortgage matters, as well as civil litigation. Siobhan is a member of the Queensland Law Society, the Law Institute of Victoria and Queensland Collaborative Law. She is extremely passionate about Collaborative Family law Practice and is a regular attendee of seminars and conferences in this regard. Siobhan is currently undertaking further study to become a trained Collaborative Family Law Practitioner and an Accredited Mediator. Lindsay Schmalkuche – Practice Manager Lindsay has been in private business practice since 1992. In that time he has provided commercial, business and financial advice to individuals and to large and small companies. Lindsay provides commercial advice to clients of the firm which complements legal advice given by Gail. Sian Allison – Paralegal Sian joined the Pathway team in May 2009 as a Paralegal. Sian leads the Conveyancing Department and also provides the firm with specialist skills in regard to client relations and marketing. Sian is also Pathway Legal's receptionist. Sian's efficient and hands-on approach ensures that all clients receive the best possible service. Our clients are constantly providing us with positive feedback in relation to her assistance with their conveyancing.

Lindsay has been in private business practice since 1992.  In that time he has provided commercial, business and financial advice to individuals and to large and small companies.  Lindsay provides commercial advice to clients of the firm which complements legal advice given by Gail.

Sian Allison – Paralegal

Sian joined the Pathway team in May 2009 as a Paralegal. Sian leads the Conveyancing Department and also provides the firm with specialist skills in regard to client relations and marketing. Sian is also Pathway Legal's receptionist.

Natalie Crick – Law Clerk

Natalie is an Undergraduate at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), studying a Bachelor of Laws/ Applied Science, and is due to complete her studies in June 2013.

Natalie joined the team at Pathway Legal in June 2011 as a law clerk. Natalie has a real interest in family law and commercial and corporate law.

To date, Natalie has been a real asset to the team providing a great deal of support to all at Pathway Legal.
