the process
The Brief: Project details and your expectations are gathered over the phone or at a meeting. 
A summary of the brief will be sent to you for approval. For promotional material such as brochures 
or ads and also for websites the text and images (if available) will be required to begin a project. 
If we are designing packaging or labels a sample of your product will be required, label 
size or a dieline (template files) from your packaging supplier or printer is handy too.

Quotation: You will receive a quotation within 3 days. The quotation is provided in 3 Stages. 
Stage 1 is the creation of strategic concepts.
Stage 2 allows for design development - if requested. 
Stage 3 is to produce the artwork according to the printer’s specifications.

Commencement: If the quotation accepted, an initial instalment of 50% of Stage 1 is required.

Stage 1: Concepts are developed within 7-10 working days after your commencement payment
is received. This presentation can be in person, over the phone or an online meeting via Skype.

Stage 2: Feedback can be provided by email, by phone or at a meeting. If more than 30 minutes 
design development is required an estimate for Stage 2 will be provided and revised designs will 
be sent via email.

Stage 3: Once the final design is approved, artwork files are prepared inline with commercial printing 
standards. Files will be supplied digitally to pass onto your printer and for your records.

* Payments are due at the completion of each stage, prior to the continuation of the next stage. 
Print management, photography direction and copywriting are optional.

Our label printing service is an ideal solution for professional quality labels for short-runs, producing gorgeous colours with no dot on a gloss or matt adhesive. Importantly, our label printer can withstand a range of typical food environment conditions including application to cold and moist surfaces, storage in freezers, contact with oils and friction during transportation. 

It is also perfect for a host of other uses, including:
  • Proofing before going to press on longer runs
  • Full-color box-end labels with all of the required bar codes
  • Test marketing - our small quantities mean new products can be trialled without a huge investment
  • Contract manufacturing - looking at branching out? Now you can offer labelling as part of the deal
  • Promotional labels - ideal for seasonal marketing, limited sales promotions or if you win an award!
