Our approach to dentistry

Your dental health and overall well-being is our priority.

We take a preventive approach to dentistry that focuses on maintaining your oral health for the long term. We work with you to minimise the need for major dental treatment.

At Albany Place Dental Practice, we provide a friendly and supportive environment for all dental work. We will discuss treatment options with you, provide sound advice, and ensure that you are involved in making decisions about your oral health.

Our primary focus is our patients. We are interested in ensuring that patients are comfortable in our practice and confident in our care. We combine the latest in modern dental technology with traditional approaches to care to provide the best in family dental practice.
Dental Implant Treatment
Dental Implant Treatment Overview

Clinical Assessment & Consultation

A clinical assessment, diagnostic imaging (x rays) and photographs are taken to assess the condition of your mouth to determine suitability for implants. Our implant dentist will take you through
your proposed treatment plan options and provide you with a treatment plan including breakdown of costs. Sometimes for more complex cases this appointment is split into two visits.
Implant Placement

The implant is installed in the jawbone. No healthy teeth are affected or damaged in the process. Other tooth replacement solutions such as a bridge may require perfectly healthy teeth to
be ground down unnecessarily.
Implant Osseointegration

Following implant placement, a healing period is required to allow for the bone to fuse to the new implant. The healing time varies between 6 to 18 weeks and is case dependent. It is important to remember that during this period you will be able to go about your daily activities as per normal. Since we only employ evidence-based dentistry and proven techniques, we insist that healing times are followed to guarantee the best outcome.
Restoration

When the healing period is over, the implant abutment and implant crown is placed. We have teamed with some of Australia’s leading dental laboratories to ensure that our patients only receive the best!
